An employer who is offering a wage that is above or at the median hourly wage should submit an application that meets the program requirements for the High-wage position. This process requires the employer to obtain a Labor Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) demonstrating that the employer was not able to find a Canadian worker or permanent resident to fill the position and perform the duties required by the job.
